General English - Intermediate II.
This course is a follow-on to last semester’s course, but that course is not a requirement for enrolment in this semester.
All new students are welcome!
What is the entry level of this course?
The course is designed for students for whom the following statement is true:
I can speak about basic things like work, family and school. I can ask and answer simple questions. I can write an e-mail to book accommodation for my holiday and I can read the answer. In my previous course, we got through to the end of lesson 3 of New English File Intermediate and I’d like to continue.

Who will lead the course?
The course is taught by a native speaker.
How does the teaching work?
- You will speak only English
- You will practice all the basic language skills (speaking, reading, writing, listening)

- Grammar: modal verbs (must, have to, should)
- Vocabulary: telephoning, etiquette

- Grammar: modal verbs (can, could, be able to)
- Vocabulary: -ed/-ing adjectives
- Video: learning languages
- Revision of units 3&4
- Vocabulary revision, revision of modal verbs, articles, comparatives and superlatives

- Grammar: past tenses (simple, continuous, perfect)
