General English - Intermediate
This is a new course. It is not directly linked to any course in the previous semester and is therefore ideal for new students.
What is the entry level of this course?
The course is designed for students for whom the following statement is true:
I can speak about basic things like work, family and school. I can ask and answer simple questions. I can write an e-mail to book accommodation for my holiday and I can read the answer.
Who will lead the course?
The course is taught by a native speaker.
How does the teaching work?
- You will speak only English
- You will practice all the basic language skills (speaking, reading, writing, listening)

- Doprava MHD: Metro trasa C, Budějovická a pak asi 2 minuty pěšky. Z vestibulu vystupte na té straně, kde jsou obyčejné schody (ne eskalátor). Učebny jsou v budově polikliniky Pacovská přímo naproti výstupu z metra. Pozor, na Budějovické jsou dvě polikliniky, ta naše je za velkou budovou Raiffeisenbank a KFC.

Who is the instructor?
Mark Griffiths
Mark Griffiths je velmi zkušený lektor obecné a obchodní angličtiny z Velké Británie. Vystudoval mezinárodní vztahy a je držitelem CELTA, ceněného certifikátu pro lektory angličtiny. Výuce angličtiny se věnuje už přes 30 let – učil v Čechách, Číně nebo Vietnamu, má také zkušenosti s přípravou studentů na mezinárodní zkoušky IELTS. Mark je velmi otevřený a přátelský lektor a jeho lekce jsou nabité pozitivní energií. Kromě rodné angličtiny mluví také výborně česky.
Mark Griffiths is an experienced teacher of general and business English. He comes from the UK, but has been living abroad and teaching English for the last 30 years – he has taught in the Czech Republic, Vietnam and China. He has a degree in International relations and teaching qualification CELTA. Mark is a very friendly teacher whose lessons are filled with positive energy. Apart from English, he also speaks excellent Czech.
