Czech for foreigners - Pre-Intermediate II
Covid update: Group courses are run online. We will return to the classrooms as soon as possible. However, courses labelled Location: ONLINE will be run online in full regardless of Covid situation.
This course is a follow-on to last semester’s course, but that course is not a requirement for enrolment in this semester.
All new students are welcome!
What do I already know?
- You manage to follow basic conversation that is slowly spoken
- You understand basic phrases in common conversation
- You can ask simple question and answer them
Who will lead the course?
The course is taught by a Czech teacher.
How does the teaching work?
- The teacher will communicate with you primarily in Czech, however, they will switch to English when neccessary
- You will practice all the basic language skills with the focus on communication skills, i.e. speaking and listening

You will study lessons 5, 6 and 7 of Cestina Express 3 text book.

Who is the instructor?
Adrian Zasina
Adrian Zasina is a teacher of Czech and Polish. He comes from Poland. Adrian studied Slavic philology at University of Opole and at Masaryk University in Brno, now he is working on his PhD in lingustics at Charles University in Prague. He speaks Czech, Polish and English fluently. Adrian is a very patient and supportive teacher.
